Connectify vs TAGGRS: server-side GTM that keeps sending your data

Connectify and TAGGRS are both Dutch platforms for server-side Google Tag Manager. Both run your server container on your own first-party subdomain, hosted in Europe, with protection against ad blockers.

There are two differences that decide it for most businesses: what happens when you hit your limit, and what you pay per tier.

Why teams choose Connectify

  • Your data keeps flowing. At TAGGRS, data stops being sent to your platforms once you exceed your limit. At Connectify, your paid container keeps running.
  • A lower price at every tier. That holds for monthly and annual billing, from entry level to 10 million requests.
  • Live in 20 minutes, with support in Dutch and English. Live chat included, even on the free plan.

Your data keeps flowing, even when your traffic peaks

According to TAGGRS’s own FAQ, once you exceed your request limit, the data flowing through TAGGRS can no longer be sent to your platforms. You can prevent that by upgrading, manually or automatically, to a bigger plan.

At Connectify, a paid container never stops. Requests above your plan are processed as usual and billed at a fixed rate: €1.50 per 10,000 on Starter, €1.25 on Plus and €1.00 on Pro.

A busy month with 100,000 extra requests on Starter costs €15 extra, and every conversion still reaches Google Ads, Meta and GA4. Growing steadily? Move up a plan when it suits you, not because your data stops.

High10M – €119.95/month (€107.92 annually)10M – €152/month (€127 annually)

Connectify is cheaper at every tier. The gap grows as you scale: at 10 million requests, you save around €32 a month on monthly billing.

TAGGRS includes a few more requests in its lower tiers. With Connectify you don’t have to worry about that margin, because going over simply means your data keeps flowing.

Each website gets its own Connectify plan, so every domain pays for what it actually uses. For agencies, that makes costs per client easy to see and pass on.

Live in 20 minutes, in the GTM you already know

Connectify doesn’t replace Google Tag Manager. It runs the infrastructure behind it.

Create your domain in Connectify, add the DNS records for your tracking subdomain, connect your server container and continue in GTM with ready-made templates. A standard setup takes around 20 minutes. The real-time data flow view then shows that everything is coming in and going out as it should.

Where your analysis happens

TAGGRS includes an extensive analytics environment inside its platform, with request analytics and comparisons between client-side and server-side data.

Connectify shows you in real time that your data flows correctly. The analysis itself then happens where your data ends up: GA4, Google Ads and Meta. If you specifically want an extra reporting layer inside your tagging tool, TAGGRS offers one. If you want your data to arrive reliably and affordably, Connectify is built for exactly that.

Working with an agency?

Many businesses have server-side tracking set up and managed by their marketing agency. Connectify is built for that: a shared team account, the same setup for every website, and an agency that keeps working in the GTM environment it already knows.

Frequently asked questions

Is Connectify a good TAGGRS alternative? Yes. You get managed server-side GTM on your own subdomain, ad blocker protection and GTM templates at a lower price per tier, with tracking that keeps running when you exceed your plan.

Can I switch from TAGGRS to Connectify? Yes. Your tags, triggers and variables live in your GTM server container. You connect that container to Connectify and update the DNS records for your tracking subdomain.

Are both platforms European? Yes. Connectify and TAGGRS are both Dutch companies with European hosting.

Your tracking should keep working when it matters most. With Connectify, it does.
